Say you are a district attorney. And your friend or family does a criminal offense that warrants the need of the district attorney. Would the district attorney have to prosecute them or could they be recused from the case?

My father is dying and doesn’t want to have his properties probated, yet he never set up a trust or quit claimed the properties to us children. I have durable power of attorney. Can I quit claim the house and land to me and my siblings, legally? This is my father’s wish, so we’re not doing anything he wouldn’t want. Or could I set up a family trust as his POA?
Thanks for the help!

I called an attorney and they told me USD00. They let you make payments, but won’t file until the whole thing is paid. Is that too much or just right?

In a (not my fault at all) car accident in Kentucky. How much of a percentage does an attorney normally collect? Is 35% of the gross if settled or 40% if suit is filed the norm? Plus court costs and other little things. It seems to turn out they get 50% and I get to use mine to pay medical bills.
